School on nanostructured porous materials (more information)

The School will be held prior to the Symposium, between October 18 and 20. 24 lectures of 55 minutes each will be developed, being them divided in three general topics:

  • Synthesis of porous nanostructured materials
  • Models of porosity and porous materials characterization
  • Applications of porous nanostructured materials

The tentative schedule for the School will contemplate the participation of professors Michael Sailor (University of California, San Diego, USA), Lluis Marsal (Univ. Rovira i Virgili, Tarragona, Spain), Galo Soler Illia (CNEA, CONICET, Argentina), Karim Sapag (INFAP, Univ. Nac. de San Luis, Argentina), Mattias Thommes (Quantachrome Instruments), Raúl Urteaga (IFIS Litoral, Santa Fe, Argentina), Leigh Canham (psiMedica, United Kingdom), Eduardo Miró (INCAPE-FIQ, Univ. Nac. del Litoral, Argentina), Vivechana Agarwal (Univ. Autónoma del Estado de Morelos, Mexico) y Paulo E. Valadão de Miranda (COPPE-UFRJ, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil).

Depending on the availability of funds, financial assistance to students participating in the School will be offered. Lectures will be in language Spanish, Portuguese or English. The first circular of the Congress will be soon published, which will give a tentative schedule and some details about admission, available seats and other features of the School.
