UNL developes an important protection policy regarding research results.
The University, as an institution related to the scientific and technological scopes, is a source of knowledge, inventions, new products, services and processes that eventually become huge society assets. To ensure an optimal use of this intelectual capital, it is necessary to protect it by the pursuit of accurate intelectual property rights.
UNL, along with other enterprises and institutions, has presented 209 patents in 18 countries: Argentina, Mexico, United States, South Africa, Spain, Canada, United Kingdom, Australia, China, India, Pakistan, Japan, Germany, Brazil, Paraguay, Uruguay, Colombia and Bolivia.

 

UNL bonds and connections in numbers

209 requested patents in 18 countries worldwide. By 2021 there are 73 granted patents, 48 in Argentina and 25 are internacional.

4657 signed agreements with enterprises and governments, that involves technological services, such as trials, consultancies and assessments, developments, concerted research, remotely training.

2075 enterprises and organizations have hired UNL’s services. An year-on-year increase on the billing has been registered.

In 2021, 48 projects of technological innovation which financial management was executed by UNL.
