Entrepreneurs’ professional training is a trigger for economic development and for counties’ social capital growth. That’s because entrepreneurs have skills, behaviours and approaches that allow them to progres son their careers, at the same time, they invigorate the socio-productive environment. The university is a key factor to this process; as a source of knowledge, motivation and as a reference scope.
Education for entrepreneurship is major booster to the socioeconomic sector, as it creates a positive atmosphere for small and medium businesses development, enabeling a sustainable development internally and externally.
UNL offers a variety of tools and platforms for entrepreneurs, providing training, technical consultancy and creating bonds between the different actors involved in economic development.
One these, is the Entrepreneur’s Club, which is a meeting point between entrepreneurs, small and medium businesses, incubators, business accelerators, regional and national universities.
Entrepreneur’s Club creation is a result of a National Production Ministry’s plan, along the financial support from ONU’s Program for development (PNUD). This partnership allowed some actions such as the physical space improvement, equipment purchase and the startup of a coworking modality.
