UNL’s Employment website is already functioning

It is a dynamic, attractive and functional website platform in which students and graduates can apply for a wide variety of job offers. Companies, entities and consulting firms are already on the data base. Since it’s creation –eight years ago-  more tan 1860 job offers had been posted.

Wether you are looking for an employer or an employee, you can easily find one on the Employment website powered by Universidad Nacional del Litoral. On this portal users can come across to 9300 different profesional profiles formed inside UNL’s faculties.

This website is dynamic, functional and it’s main objective is to connect employers and employees, in a simple, quick and effective way. It was built with advanced technology in order to ease the employment mediation, information access, registered participants and offer’s application. The portal is eight years old, and is established as a employment mediation tool and as an added value to student community.

Since it was launched, in year 2014, 1864 offers have been posted and more tan 600 companies and public and prívate entities have been registered in order to get access to it’s services.

What is more, more tan 7.000 students and graduates from the different UNL’s careers have the possibility to access to labour market and get their first job experience.

 

In that sense, more than 21.000 candidatures have been offered amongst the wide variety of employment slots available. For companies, organisms and consulting firms, it is a chance for ‘talents couting’, supported and counseled by specialists on UNL’s academic offer and the options they have between the profesional profiles seeking for new job opportunities.
Sebastián Rossin, UNL’sTechnology Transfer director  -area that is on charge of the First Job Program-  commented that the last five years of experience were really usefull for redesigning this portal and making it more friendly and functional. “This space eases the job placement process for UNL’s alumni, and also it promotes SME’s professionalization, understanding that both concepts –institution professionalization and job placement – are key for development”.

The importance of design applied to user’s needs

Through the First Job Program, UNL works towards the improvement of job placement amongst the students and alumni. This effort applies for presential and also virtual/long distance careers. With that purpose, the institution provides spaces where job placementis encouraged and offers companies and organisms the possibility of publishing their job offers and obtaining comprehensive counselling on the human resources research process.

Also, companies, human resources consultant firms and other institutions can ask for advice, management and staff selection with UNL’s solid support and commitment. These services are free for every member.
Through the years, the labour market has become more complex: diverse technologies have been added to the productive process, skills needed in order to get a job have increased, so a higher specialization is required. This have directly impacted on the ways that citizens get access to their jobs.

In our era, where knowledge has become one of the main production factors,higher education’s role has widen and established new priorities.
In this sense, UNL offers a new website design to get instant access to every user’s information, so that employers and employees can quickly get in touch and the contact between them is effective.

Employment and Posgraduate Exhibition: another contact opportunity
With similar goals, in 2019 en el 2019, UNL’s organized the sixth edition of it’s Employment and Posgraduate Exhibition, a meeting point -facetoface in this case-  for the exchange between employers and employees. At this evento, people can find stands, training courses and interactive activities related to the topic Employment 4.0.
